Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), lateral entry refers to a mode of admission for students who have completed a diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharm) and want to directly enter the second year or third semester of the B.Pharm program. This pathway allows diploma holders to continue their education and obtain a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in a shorter duration by giving them advanced standing based on their prior learning. It provides an opportunity for D.Pharm graduates to further their education and enhance their career prospects in the field of pharmacy.
About The Programme
The B.Pharm lateral entry program provides a seamless transition for D.Pharm graduates to expand their expertise in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice. Eligibility
Class XII with (PCM/PCB) min. 55%
Students enrolled in the B. Pharm second year receive direct admission through the B. Pharma Lateral Entry admission program.
After completing a three-year pharmacy diploma program (recognized by PCI), students can pursue a three-year undergraduate degree called B. Pharm (Lateral Entry). It provides training for careers in industry, clinical settings, drug control agencies, education, and pharmaceutical research.
